The Langtoft 10k is fast becoming the traditional curtain raiser to the local road race season. The event attracted a field of 339 runners including strong group of senior Bourne Town Harrier athletes with pride of place going to Cameron Everist who finished in 5th place in an excellent time of 35.37. His efforts earned him first place in the u25 age group.
Scott Taylor, another u25 athlete was 7th in a time of 35.54. He was followed by Dominic Moszkai whose time of 36.53 was good enough for 9th place and Steven Sheppard in 10th position and a time of 37.09.
Tim Lister broke the 40 minute mark by finishing in 26th position in a time of 39.33. The next Harrier home was Del James in 39th and a time of 41.07. Phil Parker was 57th in a solid time of 43.06 and Robert Norris finished in a time of 44.13 in 65th.
Neil Webb posted an admirable time of 48.45 in finishing in 120th place. Molly Bennett was the first lady Harrier to finish. Her time of 50.59 brought her home in 148th position. Lisa Moloney was not far behind in 163rd place and a time of 52.10. The third lady was Harrier Kirsten James who finished in 237th place and a time of 58.19.
Richard Cooper making a rare harrier appearance finished just outside the hour barrier in 263rd place. Fiona Taylor was 280th and Kevin Grewcock was 314th.
